This is not just another testimonial. I have always been skeptical of testimonials for one reason or another and very rarely do I write them, but in this case I felt compelled to do so.

All I want to say is, here in Serenity House I found both: MY happiness and success. Only this time it means something different to me. What makes me happy are: the freedom of my thoughts, the peace I haven´t had for such a long time, the control of my actions, health, eagerness to read, learn, observe, the priceless sleep without any nightmares, laughter and desire to live and love.

Over a month ago my life was a mess. I had hit rock bottom and my drinking was out of control I was given the opportunity to go to Serenity House, where I was treated and looked after for my alcoholism. Serenity House was not just a treatment centre, it was a home.
In fact a home I was reluctant to leave, Chris and Anita were both welcoming, kind and always there to help you. No problem was too big or too small, I received nothing but kindness help and support. Throughout my stay I learnt not just about my illness, but how to cope with it. My faith, my life itself was restored.
Without the help I received at Serenity House my life would not be as good as it is now. My time there was educated whilst relaxed and comfortable. Set in peaceful surroundings I was able to relax around the pool, exercise, watch television and had lovely meals. I can honestly say that Serenity House saved my life.
